INTRO - THOUGHTS ALONG THE WAY TO DYING
Introduction to “TATWTD
Good December morning;
Sounds of the Ripon Cathedral Choir singing Ukranian Bell Carol spill across my room. My foot on the floor taps along with my fingers on the keyboard. The holiday season has seized me.
I write to welcome you to a new blog category on Pinewordworks.com:
“Thoughts Along the Way to Dying.”
Twice a month or so, I will post thoughts I am glad to have, or to have had throughout my 79 years of hosting, or being hosted by, a functioning brain. I am ready to discover what subjects grab my attention and will share them with you. I know that the first posting—which will appear very soon—surprised me in its demand to be that which launches the project: A memory. A memory of not dying.
Do leave a comment when a blog post seems to call you to it—I will enjoy interacting with you. Join me in the pleasure of Thoughts Along Our Way to Dying. Dying is a journey we all share. It’s a sure path. My hope is that, along the way we might look around, look up, look left and right, look back, look forward, and see stuff worth a word or several.
First Posting? Today, I hope – a memory; memory of not dying.
