PINEAWEIGH - DAY TWENTY-ONE, Last Cruising Day

PINEAWEIGH - DAY TWENTY-ONE, Last Cruising Day

Smoke. We’ve worried about it being very, very close to the Turner’s California house but today we are breathing it; smoke carried by a generous North wind from Canada. No visa, no seeking permission. Wind wends is way to us, willy-nilly, like it or not. BUT . . .

As you see from the accompanying photo, children of the City of Bainbridge Island (Winslow) have welcomed wind, weighted with freight or not. “Dilly Dilly!’ say the young.

Early morning began with bumping of boats, and the cries of delightful confusion.

Dilly Dilly!
